ALMOST CINCO 1

For time:

3 rounds of:

  • 5 deadlifts [315/165]
  • 10 pistols (one-legged squats)

Then,

50′ handstand walk (sub: 150′ bear crawl as low as possible)

Time cap: 7 minutes, Almost Cinco 2 begins precisely 1 minute after the time cap.

ALMOST CINCO 2

For time:

3 rounds of:

  • 5 muscle-ups (sub: 1 pull-up + 1 dip = 1 muscle-up)
  • 5 handstand push-ups (sub: dumbbell push presses)

Then,

100′ double kettlebell overhead walking lunge [53/35]

Time cap: 7 minutes, this event will begin 1 minute after the end of the time cap for Almost Cinco 1.


Coach’s thoughts: This is a modified version of a CrossFit Games workout that will still need to be heavily modified for most people. With that being said, it should still be a very hard workout. The overhead walking lunge will most likely be a 45/25 lb plate overhead, but don’t just go there because it is hard. See if you can hold two objects overhead (DB or KB) and challenge yourself.
