How did you get here?
On Chris and my first date we went for a walk through Beverly Farms. After stopping in my favorite store Vidalia’s, he looked at me and asked “Have you ever considered opening a place like this? Somewhere that you can know your community and help people get healthy? You would be so great at it, and I know that is what your heart wants to do.” I had honestly never considered it before, that conversation carried on through our dating life, engagement and into our marriage. It has evolved over time, but one day we woke up and realized that CrossFit is what started us talking in the first place, and it is one of our favorite things to do together, so why not create a place for a community to grow around that?! We knew that we couldn’t pull it off by ourselves, so we have gathered some amazing people to do it with us along the way. Some days I wake up and pinch myself that our conversation that day has turned into this, and I wouldn’t want it any other way.
What is your athletic background? I was always active as a kid. I played year round softball all throughout high school, however when I hit college I stopped all physical activity. I really missed team sports and HATED the gym. Studies took over my free time and it wasn’t until I found CrossFit in 2008 that I truly started to love movement again.
What is your favorite movement: I’d have to say pistols or handstand push ups, but only because I mastered them before my husband, and that is about my ONLY claim to fame over him.
What is your Goat (least favorite): Snatches and running.

I have had the experience to see people’s lives changed because of learning to live a healthy lifestyle with how they eat, move and think through my employment with Franson Family Chiropractic and also BonfireHealth.com. Working for four years with both of these companies has given me many tools to help you succeed in making lasting, manageable changes in your life to make it thrive! I am also a Holistic Health Coach and Nutritional Counselor with my other company I Thrive Health Coaching. I am trained in over 100 nutritional theories to help you in the five pillars of wellness (exercise, nutrition, career, relationship, and spirituality) Please use me as a resource to help your performance, and life in general thrive!
Why are you excited to be a part of this? I love being a part of this place because it is truly an honor to watch people discover new things about themselves. It is so amazing to watch people tap into strength they never knew they had! I also love knowing that our son Samuel and baby #2 will grow up watching adults of all walks of life make healthy choices for themselves. I love the example that is being set for him as to what it looks like to be a fully functioning adult.
